Perfectionals Barbershop

This project focused on driving foot and web traffic to Perfectionals Barbershop in Morgantown, WV. Working with Perfectionals since the day they opened, we used photography to support social media content as well as the barbershop’s website, and, paired with integrated point-of-contact intake, the business saw fast, steady, and longterm growth over the course of the campaign. Today, Perfectionals is the premier barbershop in Morgantown, working with everyone from young men to professional athletes.

Hard 2 Guard Academy

Our work for Hard2Guard Academy based in Morgantown, WV, was formative in the early years of our agency. An exclusive basketball training academy owned and operated by former West Virginia University and professional Juwan Staten, Hard2Guard hired 81 Creative to expand its digital presence for skill drills as well as promoting its work with professional and college players. We spent most of our time documenting Staten working with NY Knicks guard Miles “Deuce” McBride ahead of his standout season in the Garden. Other work included documenting training sessions with West Virginia Player of the Year and Division I Akron commit Sha’Ron Young.
